Groupe Dupuis Paquin

Daniel Dupuis, B.A.A., LL.B.

In 1989, Mr. Daniel Dupuis graduated with distinction from HEC Montréal with a degree in Business Management, Finance and Accounting. He then began his career as an advisor to start-up companies at the Department of Industry and Trade of Québec. Over the next 15 years, Mr. Dupuis pursued his career in the field of consulting services as an independent consultant for SMEs.

Throughout high school, college and university, Mr. Dupuis was actively involved in community life. He was active in the local and national student associations, cooperatives as well as the Desjardins Group, where he served on various boards.

At the same time, Mr. Dupuis carried out several business recovery and development assignments in sectors as diverse as retail (accredited bookstore, coffee shop and computer store), environmental recovery and recycling businesses, businesses with a social involvement (reintegration and training for jobseekers), industrial businesses, as well as legal services management.

In order to further his education and gain new skills, Mr. Dupuis studied law at the Université de Montréal and was admitted to the Québec Bar in 2000.

"Passionate about traveling and... other people with a passion! He loves discovering, learning and experimenting. Work-wise, his ongoing concern for relevance and efficiency results in quick and outstanding outcomes."

Then, Mr. Dupuis began a career focused more on the practice of law by getting involved in matters of corporate reorganizations, business partnerships, business successions, acquisitions and sales, mergers, restructuring, investment groups, as well as several other assignments combining both these aspects: "Entrepreneurship/Business" and "Law".

In 2004, Mr. Dupuis began developing his entrepreneurial potential by setting up - or by actively participating in - businesses operating in a wide variety of industries ranging from legal services to internet marketing, including real estate management, computer support and software development.

Passionate about traveling and discovering new places, resourceful and adventurous, Mr. Dupuis explores, discovers and enjoys pushing back the frontiers of the unknown both in his spare time and at work.

Mr. Dupuis excels in complex corporate reorganizations, as well as various cases related to business transactions thanks to his mastery of financial and accounting matters. Concerned about cost-effectiveness, he always respects a great principle of accounting: Benefits> Costs. Moreover, his main concern is to provide a fast and efficient service in order to meet the expectations of business people like him!
