Richard Lafontaine, Tax accountant

Mr. Richard Lafontaine began his career with the Quebec Revenue Department in 1989. Over his twenty years of experience at Revenue Quebec, he has developed and implemented several auditing methods based on indices and indirect methods (net worth, deposit method, cash flow, etc.)

Between 2005 and 2009, he worked as an expert in complex cases in the construction sector.

In 2009, he left Revenue Quebec to lay down the foundations for his tax-accounting business, specializing in audit records from Revenue Quebec and Canada Revenue Agency.

Mr. Lafontaine acts as a negotiator representing taxpayers vis-à-vis various tax authorities especially when it comes to the "Opposition" and "Collection" stages.

In summer 2009, he set up several businesses as a director and shareholder.
